Riverside Township 2026 Triennial Reassessment Notices Have Been Mailed

Riverside Township homeowners should be aware that 2026 Triennial Reassessment Notices were mailed on Friday, April 24, 2026. If you received a notice, now is the time to carefully review your property assessment to ensure it accurately reflects your home’s value.

Homeowners have a limited window to appeal their assessment at the Assessor’s Office. The deadline to file an appeal at the Assessor’s level is June 8, 2026. Even if you choose not to appeal at this stage, there will be a second opportunity later in the year to appeal before the Board of Review.

River Forest Township Homeowners: Act Now on Your 2026 Property Tax Assessment

2026 Triennial reassessment notices were mailed to River Forest Township homeowners on Monday, April 20, 2026. Homeowners in River Forest Township have 30 business days to appeal their assessment at the Assessor’s office (there will be a second opportunity to appeal later in the year at the Board of Review, whether you appeal at the Assessor’s office or not). The deadline for appealing at the Assessor’s office is June 02, 2026.

We recommend homeowners review their assessment annually, particularly in a triennial reassessment year, to ensure they do not pay more than their fair share in property taxes. Successfully appealing in a reassessment year may provide 3 years of savings on future property tax bills. If you would like a free analysis of your River Forest Township home, in comparison to similar properties, we would be happy to conduct a “no obligation” analysis and provide you with a free estimate of how much we believe we could help you save with an appeal.

Why Reviewing Your 2026 Assessment Matters

We strongly encourage property owners to review their assessment every year, not just during a triennial reassessment. While Rogers Park Township’s next triennial reassessment is scheduled for 2027, homeowners have the legal right to appeal their assessment annually—both with:
• The Cook County Assessor’s Office, and
• The Cook County Board of Review
If your home’s assessed value does not reflect current market conditions or comparable properties in your neighborhood, there’s no reason to wait.

Norwood Park Township 2026 Assessment Notices Mailed

The Cook County Assessor’s Office mailed 2026 property assessment notices to Norwood Park Township homeowners on Monday, April 13, 2026. This means the appeal window is now open and will remain open until May 26, 2026.

Why You Should Review Your Assessment This Year

We strongly encourage property owners to review their assessments every year and appeal whenever there is strong, evidence‑based support that a home may be over‑assessed.

Norwood Park Township was last reassessed in 2025, but even if you appealed last year, you are still eligible to appeal again in 2026. A successful appeal this year may provide two years of tax savings, lasting until Norwood Park’s next reassessment in 2028.
