Thornton Township 2024 Assessment Notices Mailed

On Friday, September 06th, 2024, the Cook County Assessor’s office mailed 2024 property assessment notices to Thornton Township property owners. The window for appealing your 2024 assessed value is now open and will remain so until the deadline of October 21, 2024.

Thornton Township includes the following cities, towns, and villages: Blue Island (southern edge), Burnham, Calumet City, Dixmoor, Dolton, East Hazel Crest, Glenwood (northern 1/4), Harvey, Hazel Crest, Homewood (northeast half), Lansing (northern half), Markham (eastern 1/4), Phoenix, Posen, Riverdale, South Holland, and Thornton.
