Government Refund Service

Have You Been Contacted by Kensington about a Government Refund?

IF YES: we reached out to you because we’ve identified a potential refund for you. We only contact people if there is a strong likelihood of successfully recovering a refund.

IF NO: then we have not identified a refund that pertains to you and trying to find one can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Please learn more about our property tax appeal service instead.

How Do We Recover Refunds?

We research public records to identify sums of money that are owed to individuals or businesses because of an overcharge, overpayment, uncollected refund or uncollected payment. We then notify you of our discovery and offer our service. Once hired, we work diligently to collect the refund on your behalf.

Why Should I use Kensington to Recover My Refund?

Unclaimed funds are held by government agencies that are often not required to inform you that you are due a refund and do not return this money automatically. For many of these refunds, there is a statute of limitations. If you do not collect your refund in time, it will become property of the government and will never again be recoverable. Because of the complexity of government refunds and because it’s in their financial interest not to tell you about them, it’s common for people like you to be unaware that these refunds exist and to miss the window of opportunity to collect them.

Please Note: our research and recovery does not include funds held by any state treasurer’s office as unclaimed property.

Is This a Scam?

Since 1999, we at Kensington have reclaimed millions of dollars from the government for thousands of people just like you – read our refund testimonials here. We are rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau and you can learn more about our executive team here.

We only contact people if we have pre-identified a refund. We don’t want to waste our time or yours, and people we have not contacted do not qualify for our refund services.

The Best Part: We Work on a Contingency Basis

We cannot guarantee that your refund can be recovered. We may find that it has already been recovered, is owed to someone else instead, or was the result of a clerical error. Therefore, we do not charge our clients any money up front and, if we go through the entire process and cannot recover a refund, there is no charge to you. If we are successful in recovering a refund for you our typical fee is 50% of any recovered amount.
