A successful protest in 2020 may result in savings on your tax bill that is issued between October and November of this year. The best way to ensure you never pay more than your fair share in property taxes is to review your property appraisal every year and protest whenever you have a strong basis for a protest with the Appraisal Review Board.

Property values in Harris County, Texas do not stay the same every year. They change frequently, as ownership changes, as properties are remodeled, and as new homes are constructed and sold.
