Calumet Township 2021 Assessment Notices Mailed

The Assessor’s Office has mailed 2021 assessment notices to Calumet property owners. You may appeal your assessment each year during the 30 day window which is now open and will close on August 3rd.

Cook County reassesses properties triennially through a mass appraisal system. Calumet was last reassessed in 2020 and if you appealed and were successful on your 2020 tax year appeal you will see those savings this summer on your 2nd installment property tax bill (the 1st installment bill you recently received is always 55% of the previous year’s total tax).

Rogers Park Township 2021 Triennial Reassessments Mailed

2021 Triennial reassessment notices were mailed to Rogers Park Township homeowners on Tuesday, June 15th. The following cities, towns, and villages are in Rogers Park Township: East Rogers Park and West Rogers Park. Homeowners in Rogers Park Township have 34 days to appeal their assessment at the Assessor’s office (there will be a second opportunity to appeal later in the year at the Board of Review, whether you appeal at the Assessor’s office or not). The deadline for appealing at the Assessor’s office is July 19th.
