The Cook County Assessor’s Office has mailed 2026 property assessment notices to West Chicago Township property owners. If you believe your property has been overassessed, you have until August 21, 2026, to file an appeal.

Homeowners should review their assessment notice every year—not just during reassessment years. While West Chicago Township’s next triennial reassessment is scheduled for 2027, property owners have the right to appeal annually through both the Cook County Assessor’s Office and the Board of Review if they believe their assessed value is inaccurate or unfair.
