The Cook County Board of Review has officially opened the 2025 property tax appeal window for Group 2 townships: Cicero, Oak Park, and Palos. The deadline to file your appeal is August 19, 2025.

The Cook County Assessor’s office has sent out 2024 property assessment notices to property owners in Oak Park Township. Assessor Mails 2023 Oak Park Reassessment Notices

Triennial reassessment notices were mailed on Thursday, April 13, 2023, for Oak Park Township property owners. The opportunity to appeal your assessment at the Assessor’s office is now open until Monday, May 15th, 2023.

There are 38 townships in Cook County and they are divided into three districts for the purposes of reassessment within a triennial cycle. Oak Park Township is part of the South Suburban triennial group which is being reassessed in 2023.
