Board of Review Opens 4 More Townships for 2018 Property Tax Appeals
Four more townships have opened at the Cook County Board of Review for 2018 property tax appeals. If your property is located in one of the 4 townships listed below the Board’s deadline to appeal your 2018 assessed value is December 6th.
- Jefferson
- Proviso
- Orland
- Wheeling
Whether you appealed at the Assessor’s office earlier this year or not, and whether your appeal was successful or not, everyone has the opportunity to appeal at the Board of Review to ensure their 2018 assessment is fair. Orland Township 2018 assessment notices were mailed on July 19th by the Cook County Assessor’s office. If your home is in Orland Township you have until the deadline of August 20th to appeal your assessment at the Assessor’s office.
Townships in Group 6 opened for 2017 property tax appeals at the Board of Review today. If your property is located in one of the townships listed below you have until the deadline of January 9th to appeal your 2017 assessment at the Cook County Board of Review.
